Seventh Annual East African Schools' Picnic

Another successful picnic was held at the Lane Cove River National Park on the third Sunday of October (which for the time being remains our annual picnic day). It seems to be rather obvious that East Africans are creatures of the sun as this occasion proved to be a rather cold and mostly overcast day. (So as in previous years numbers seem to be down when it is cold and cloudy and up when we have warm sunny days.) By my reckoning we had about 35 this year and quality can certainly make up for quantity. It was good to see both a mixture of new faces and “old” stalwarts.
